Studentuppdrag: Vi söker studenter som Entrepreneurs in Residence

Det här är en unik möjlighet för dig som student på Örebro universitet att under vår/sommar få bli en nyckelperson och arbeta med idéer som grundar sig i forskning från Örebro universitet med potential att bli startup-bolag.  Om uppdraget:

Entrepreneurs in Resistence (EIR) är utformat för att främja entreprenörskap bland studenterna vid Örebro universitet. Årets tema är "Tillämpningar av AI för samhällsnytta". I detta uppdrag kommer studenter i team om två att kopplas till några av de AI-projekt som utvecklats av forskare vid AASS på Örebro universitet i samarbete med AI Impact Lab. Uppdraget kommer att utföras mellan 27 maj och den 30 augusti 2024. Varje student kommer att spendera totalt 3 veckor (120h) på projektuppgifterna.

Din uppgift blir att tillsammans med din kollega i paret identifiera potentiella marknader, testa hypoteser, verifiera affärsidéer och utveckla möjliga affärsmodeller – det vill säga de första stegen på en bolagsresa. Detta gör ni bland annat genom:

• Marknadsverifiering
• Kartläggning av värdekedjan
• Nätverkande
• Intervjuer med intressanta aktörer
• Validering av potentiella affärsplaner
• Utveckling av arbetsprocesser och mycket mer.

Under din första vecka kommer du genomföra Inkuberas Prepare program, som kommer förbereda dig för uppdraget men också ge dig viktiga verktyg för din personliga utveckling som entreprenör. En dedikerad innovationsrådgivare kommer att finnas tillgänglig som stöd under hela uppdraget.

Din bakgrund:

Vi söker studenter vid Örebro universitet med olika studieinriktningar och kompetenser. Vi tror att du som söker är lyhörd och pålitlig med hög social kompetens. Du trivs med att arbeta i ett tätt samarbete med en till individ. Du har ett analytiskt tankesätt, arbetar strukturerat och är mån om att ditt arbete håller hög kvalitet. Vidare är du troligtvis en person som drivs av utmaningar och du är inte rädd för att ge det lilla extra för att nå dina mål. Under programmet kommer du sätta dig in i nya innovationer och tekniker, vilket gör att vi värdesätter nyfikenhet och problemlösningsförmåga hos kandidaterna. För att passa och trivas i programmet tror vi att du har ett brinnande intresse för affärsutveckling och innovationer eller motiveras av att skapa nytta och värde såväl för kunden som för samhället i stort. Vi ser gärna att du kan uttrycka dig obehindrat på engelska i tal och skrift.

 About the assignment:

Entrepreneurs in Resistance (EIR) is designed to promote entrepreneurship among students at Örebro University. This year's theme is "Applications of AI for societal benefit." In this assignment, students in teams of two will be connected to some of the AI projects developed by researchers at AASS at Örebro University in collaboration with the AI Impact Lab. The assignment will take place between May 27th and August 30th, 2024. Each student will spend a total of 3 weeks (120 hours) on the project tasks. Your task will be, together with your partner in the pair to, identify potential markets, test hypotheses, verify business ideas, and develop possible business models – essentially the first steps on a company journey. You will do this through:

• Market validation
• Value chain mapping
• Networking
• Interviews with key stakeholders
• Validation of potential business plans
• Development of workflow processes, and much more.

During your first week, you will undergo the Incubera Prepare program, which will prepare you for the assignment but also provide you with important tools for your personal development as an entrepreneur. A dedicated innovation advisor will be available to support you throughout the assignment.

Your background:

We are looking for students at Örebro University with various study backgrounds and competencies. We believe that you, as an applicant, are attentive and reliable with high social competence. You enjoy working closely with another individual. You have an analytical mindset, work systematically, and are committed to maintaining high-quality work. Furthermore, you are likely someone who is driven by challenges and is not afraid to go the extra mile to achieve your goals. During the program, you will delve into new innovations and technologies, so we value curiosity and problem-solving skills in candidates. To fit in and thrive in the program, we believe you have a keen interest in business development and innovations or are motivated by creating value for both customers and society at large. We prefer if you can express yourself fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
